L is for Law-induced Coma

The law is actually very intricate and complicated.  But the way it is presented is also very boring.  In my daily job of defending criminals, I go research cases and statutes.  Those cases and statutes are presented as black words on a white background.  It all looks the same.

If I can't sleep at night, then all I have to do is log onto my attorney's GA bar account and read new cases on Fastcase.  I'll be out in an hour.

I guess that is why I'm glad I don't actually work in the office.  I can take a break and get my job-induced coma out of the way.  Then I can continue to work on memos with my cats trying to help.  I hope I find better ways than coffee to stay awake on the job.
